Sources tell Sportsnet Lombardi will be named both President & General Manager of the Los Angeles Kings.

To encourage Lombardi’s release from his arrangement with the Philadelphia Flyers, the Kings have agreed to give up a draft pick (second round) as compensation.

assuming this turns out to be true, congratulations to both the Kings and to Dean Lombardi. This will make the Sharks job that much harder. And the Kings that much better.
