Off Wing Opinion: The Final Cut On Media Credentials Guidelines:

Guidelines for Granting Media Credentials to Bloggers and Other Online Media Representatives

I know I”m really late to the game here, but every time I wanted to get involved with this earlier my personal life got in the way.

I did not want this to pass without noting the work Eric did in pulling this set of guidelines, and I think it’s a great example of thinking how to make these situations work for all sides. I think it’s quite fair and reasonable, and it’s something I know I’ll have no reservations recommending to both bloggers and teams, should any team be silly enough to ask my opinion. More than that, I think it’s a great model bloggers covering other sports can use to help develop guidelines to work with their sport’s organizations as well.
