Sit down….. exhale…. relax…. collapse….
I still have a few people I need to talk to to make sure this gets heard in the “proper” way by the proper people, but I am very happy to announce that I’ve accepted a job. Turned in the paperwork this morning. As part of that, I’ve had to regretfully turn down two other offers, either of wish I honestly wish I could have taken, too, and the decision on this one over the others may have been the toughest decision I’ve ever made.
It looks to be a really interesting situation. No (he says to people who know me), it’s not Yahoo!, although I can’t say enough thanks to the nine million (it seems) people there I talked to in search of the right place and the right time.
More later. And now I can stop spending all of my time interviewing and spend a couple of weeks relaxing (and stressing out over starting at a new place) and maybe getting some stuff done here around the house. Oh, and a trip off to Yosemite for a few days of seriously intensive relaxing and photography…
