I hope the Sharks players are just as pissed.
I agree with the previous post about Radulov, but I hope the Sharks from ownership down are not counting on much help from the refs or the league. I’ve been a hockey fan at one level of intensity or another pretty much my entire life, and one lesson I have absorbed is that playoff hockey is not fair. Complaining about it isn’t going to win any games. The Sharks have got to match Nashville’s physical play (but not, I hope, their dirty play) and start scoring on the power play. That’s the only way Nashville is going to be punished. If they aren’t punished, they will take liberties and cheap shots with impunity, and the Sharks will leave the playoffs early. That’s the reality of playoff hockey. We love it and we hate it (at least I do), but there it is.
[I note with satisfaction that Radulov has been suspended for Game 3, the Sharks/Preds series is allegedly under the league’s microscope (or is it just a cheap magnifying glass), Brett Hull thinks the suspension should have been longer, and both he and Ferrarro think hitting from behind is out of control].
