San Jose Mercury News – TV analyst Remenda returns to Sharks

San Jose Mercury News – TV analyst Remenda returns to Sharks:

TV analyst Drew Remenda is back with the Sharks.

And this is a good thing. Drew’s a great color guy who works well with Randy Hahn. I’m glad to see him back in the fold.

I am curious, still, what happened with McSorley, but all we’re going to get there is that the two sides decided to part ways. Of course, it’s also not really my business — but I’m still curious.

I’m a little surprised to see Remenda give up the gig on CBC, but he was on XM today, and noted that the Sharks offer had been on the table for a while, and because CBC is still working out how it wants to move forward (changes in executive producer, etc), there was no given he was going to get an offer. Which seems silly, that they’d make sure they have Cole in the fold, but leave Drew hanging. Bad priorities there, guys.
