Spammers are abusing free Web services to make their spam links look more legitimate, according to e-mail security vendor MessageLabs.

And in other unexpected revelations, the sun rose in the east this morning.

um… I can understand why a company might issue a press release about this, especially since they’re a company that makes money selling security products.

But why did the New York Times actually think this warranted an article?
