this one turned out very abstract, but I really like it. Very different than what I normally do. Also another test shot with the Sigma 150mm macro, and I can see once I get used to the lens I’m going to like it. Not something I think is going to be handheld a lot, though.

I have the Nikon version instead of the Canon, but I love the Sigma 150mm macro — and here's the funny thing… one of the great characteristics of this lens is that it's a 150mm f/2.8 lens that is less than six inches long physically, which means that I can take it into HP Pavilion for Sharks games legally, and have an effective 225mm f/2.8 lens after factoring in the DX crop. I have some great Sharks shots, especially from warmup when I can take it downstairs. And, of course, I like it for the macro side too…
