Personal Use

My photography is available on smugmug. My low-resolution images (under 1200 pixels on the long side) are licensed under the Creative Commons non-commercial attribution no-derivative license, the same license the content of this blog is licensed under. You are welcome to use these images as long as you abide by the terms of the license, which require proper attribution and used in a non-commercial situation. If you aren’t sure if your usage qualifies, contact me and we’ll talk it over. Images used in this way should include a link back to the image’s page on Smugmug, or to http://www.chuqui.com/. My preferred attributions are:

All images licensed for personal use are watermarked. If you wish to license an image for personal use without the watermark, you can do so by going to my Smugmug portfolio site and clicking on the “Buy prints” button on the image you wish to license, and going to the “Download” section.


Commercial Use

I post selected images to my Smugmug Portfolio. These are higher resolution images and are not available under Creative Commons. Some of these images are available to be licensed and downloaded for commercial use, and if you want a print of one, prints can be purchased through Smugmug. Note for non-profit organizations interested in using an image: I will usually agree to a no-cost license of my images to non-profit organizations. Contact me with the details of your intended use and I’ll accomodate your needs in most cases.

If you wish to license a high-resolution version of an image for commercial use, you can do so by going to my Smugmug portfolio site and clicking on the “Buy prints” button on the image you wish to license, and going to the “Download” section. These high resolution images are not watermarked.


Purchasing Prints

You can buy a print of any of my portfolio images. They are available in many sizes on different types of papers and canvas, and will be sent directly to you from the printer. You can do this by going to my Smugmug portfolio site and clicking on the “Buy prints” button on the image you wish to to buy.
